Robin has recently completed her Foundation Teacher Training in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy at Oxford University's Mindfulness Centre, the 'OMC'.
As part of completing her Certificate in Teacher Training, Robin is now co-delivering a series of 8-week MBCT courses online with her colleague Cheryl Haslam, a Professor of Health Psychology. These MBCT courses will begin in October 2020 and continue into 2021.
This Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course, delivered by Robin Robinson (MBACP) and Professor Cheryl Haslam has been developed by the Oxford University’s Mindfulness Centre, the OMC, and aims to promote awareness of your mind and body through the cultivation of mindful awareness.
It is suitable for people wishing to enhance their general physical and mental wellbeing. If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, recurrent depression or feel generally 'dissatisfied' with your life, this course could offer you some skills in how better to respond to the 'ups and downs' of everyday living.
The programme is not suitable for everyone however, and is NOT being offered as a treatment for any specific physical or psychological conditions. It is therefore not suitable for people who are currently experiencing very severe problems in these areas.
